in psychology, an emotional condition, either normal or pathological,
characterized by discouragement, a feeling of inadequacy, etc. Also as being
gloomy; dejected; sad.
        Depression is the most treatable mental illness, yet the twenty- four
million people caught in it's downward spiral each year may feel so isolated
